Research by AdverGame Network says 34 per cent of US households play online games on a weekly basis.
You’ve read the headlines and heard the market predictions that casual games are a booming sector of the games industry – now a network of portals says that casual games are now the most popular internet activity in the US.
The AdverGame network has released figures from a Parks Associate report which says 34 per cent of US Internet households play online games on a weekly basis, compared to the 29 per cent who watch short online videos and 19 per cent who visit social networking sites with the same frequency.
AdverGames’ mix of portals and games, which range from traditional casual titles to skill-based cash payout games, have greatly benefitted from this said the company’s VP of business development Matt Coapman.
In the “Pioneers” Web Conference last night, Tom Brodie analyzed the feedback he has been getting from uVme Associates and announced how it would be addressed.
The two biggest revelations were first, when Tom said that there was a resistance with the monthly licence fee, so it would be revoked in the near future (with new uVme Associates paying it once only, as part of their up-front joining fee); and instead there would be a much lower fee put in place to access some of the back-office tools and facilities in the new Project Black Diamond business-building website - but this would be optional.
Current uVme Associates who have been paying their licence fee will be in credit when this new system is put into place, so that they will not have to pay to unlock any of the Black Diamond website services or tools for a certain period of time.
Second, because of the redevelopment of the monthly licence fee, Tom felt this was the right opportunity to restructure the entire Marketing Plan to pay out more money, and to pay it out faster than before.
The latest e-lotbidder winner is June Cook from the V-Team, who won the tiny iPod nano MP3 player!
“How do you use it?” June asked, then laughed and said, “No, I’m just kidding, it’s just a family joke!”
The win means two “firsts” for June - her first win on e-lotbidder, for her lowest unique bid amount of £2.27 - and her first MP3 player!
“It’s one of those things I’ve wanted for a long time, but never got round to buying,” June said.
As Mark Davies pointed out in Tuesday’s web conference, the IM - even in its current beta form - is a powerful communication device. “Use it to start building relationships,” he suggested. “Encourage people in your team to talk to one another - use it to deliver promotions to your team, such as the ones running now and new ones being announced next week”
Mark added, “It’s an information tool. And of course you can see when any of your Players come onto the site, because the lightbulb next to their name in your ‘Players’ folder lights up. Use the IM as a leverage device to gather momentum and really get your business going.”
New features to be added to the beta IM soon include adding contacts by their username and email address; and importing your contacts from MSN/Windows Live Messenger. We’ll keep you posted on these and other developments!
Eric Avery announced in last night’s uVme web conference that two major new promotions will run in this cycle (Cycle 4) and next (Cycle 5).
“These are probably the biggest promotions we’ve had in terms of earning money,” Eric said.
In the first promotion, any Active Associates at any level (Q1 or higher) will get paid Generation Bonus and Active Bonus on ALL SEVEN of their generations! Normally a Q1 would be paid these bonuses for only two generations, a Q2 would be paid for three generations, etc.
In the second promotion, any Active Associates at level Q3 and above will receive Matching Generation Bonus and Matching Active Generation Bonus on all seven generations of their personally sponsored members’ teams!
These bonuses are really going to equate to larger payments for everyone. Eric recommended you use these promotions to promote your business… get people interested and get them involved.
Cycle 4 ends at midnight on Sunday, April 27… so make sure you and your team are “Active” before then so you can take advantage of these amazing promotions!
